One hundred and fifty students at the Hebrew Theological College here have volunteered to spend their summer vacation working on farms, it was announced today. This is being done with the approval of the War Manpower Commission.
Ranging in age from 16 to 25, the boys come from 14 states and two Canadian provinces. They represent classes from the rabbinical and preparatory departments of the Hebrew Theological College. During the time they are on the farms they will follow the traditional custom of holding religious services three times daily, strict observances of the Sabbath, and eating food prepared in full accordance with the dietary laws.
