The Hebrew Union College today announced the establishement of two graduate fellowships for Christian clergymen. The recipients of the fellowships which are sponsored by the Louis and Mary Horowitz Foundation of New York City, are Dr. Charles L. Smith, a Baptist clergyman in Indianapolis, and Rev. Gus W. Van Beek, a Presbyterian of Tulsa, Okla.
The H.U.C. also announced that Dr. Sheldon H. Blank, professor of Bible, has been appointed chairman of its faculty.
