The 110th anniversary of the birth of Dr. Isaac M. Wise will be commemorated on Saturday. March 30, at the Hebrew Union College Chapel here. Dr. Wise was born in Steingrub. Bohemia, on March 29, 1819, and he died in Cincinnati on March 26, 1900.

Miss Miriam Slomka, secretary of the Brooklyn Hadassah, died on Wednesday night at Greenwich, Conn. Miss Slomka was actively connected with a number of social service organizations.
