The Board of Governors of the Hebrew University today opened its annual meeting, scheduled to last four days. A new president for the university will be named at the meeting.
The Board’s nominating committee will have before it two names: Professor G. Racah, rector and acting president of the university, and Dr. George Wise, chairman of the Board of Governors. The meeting is attended by 30 Israeli governors and 50 governors from overseas countries.
