The Dan Danziger Building for Applied Science, which is scheduled also to become the national headquarters for Israel research in use of solar energy, was opened yesterday at the Hebrew University. The building was made possible by contributions from the estate of the late Dan Danziger of Texas and from the French Friends of the University.
Finance Minister Levi Eshkol, who attended the opening ceremonies on behalf of the Government, expressed himself as particularly interested in solar energy research. He was told that practical solar energy sources would be available “within two years.”
