The Hebrew University announced today the receipt of three gifts totaling $150,000 from American donors. The largest gift came from Harry Kangesser of Cleveland, who contributed $100,000 to the University’s building fund in memory of his brother. Mr. Kangesser is a member of the board of directors of the American Friends of the University and was recently made a fellow of the University.
A $25,000 gift was made by Adolph Ullman of Boston long active in behalf of the University who recently became a member of the board of the American Friends of the University, The third a $25,000 bequest, to be used for poliomyelitis and cancer research was left in the will of the late Miss Lutie Goldstein, who died in San Francisco last April.
