The Hebrew University will open a special laboratory for the study of poliomyelitis and will be assisted in its investigations by a group of professors at Yale University, it was announced here by the Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University.
The investigations will be concerned with isolating the causes of the disease and examining the appearance of foreign bodies in the blood as well as checking the number of cases in various age groups. Part of the supplies necessary to carry out these studies are already on their way to Israel.
