Heinrich Teweles, well known author and dramatic critic, died here today at the age of 72.
In 1900 Teweles became editor in chief of the “Prager Tageblatt.” In 1918 he was appointed Director of the German State Theatre in Prague. Recently he had been acting as dramatic critic for the “Prager Tageblatt.” One of his best known works is his book “Goethe and the Jews.”
The will of Miss Elizabeth Eilau, probated in the Orphans’ Court, Baltimore Md. boquathed $500 each to the Jewish Home for Consumptives, the Hebrew Home for Incurables, the Jewish Children’s Hospital the Hebrew Free Burial Society the James L. Kernan Hospital and the Mary land Blind Asylum and $200 to the Animal Refuge Society. The residue of the estate was left to Mrs, Sarah Frank, sister of the testatrix.
