Helmut Gollwitzer, a theologist of the Berlin Free University, was awarded the Carl von Ossietzky medal by the Berlin section of the International League of Human Rights. The medal will be presented in the Berlin Jewish Community Center on Dec. 8. Shortly after the war. Prof. Gollwitzer was presented with the Jewish “One of the Righteous” medal for his courageous anti-Nazi struggle.
