Sixty Jewish students from East European countries will complete their studies in Germany this summer as a result of the steps begun in 1924 by the Hilfsverein der deutshen Juden to provide the means for several hundred East European Jewish students at the German High Schools to complete their studies in Germany.
The Hilfsverein has given assistance to the Jewish Students’ Organizations in Germany which conduct the welfare work among the individual students. The Hilfsverein contributed several thousand Marks and obtained large contributions for the work from the Ica and the Joint Distribution Committee, as well as from a number of Jewish organizations in Germany.
