The status of the immigrant population in Great Britain, with regard to naturalization, right of residence and restrictions, will be taken up by the Labor Government shortly, according to Arthur Henderson. British Home Secretary, in a letter to the Jewish Board of Deputies.
The Board of Deputies has submitted a memorandum to the Home Office complaining against the numerous cases of deportation and the obstacles imposed upon immigrants who sought naturalization. In his letter, Mr. Henderson declares that these conditions are due to the fact that Great Britain has not yet returned to normalcy.
