HENRI BODENHEIMER, BANKER, PRESIDENT OF THE CENTRAL BOARD OF THE INTERNATIONAL ORT UNION AND A MEMBER OF THE JEWISH CONSISTORY, DIED TODAY AT THE AGE OF 72.
MR. BODENHEIMER WAS THE HEAD OF THE BODENHEIMER BANQUE. HE WAS ACTIVE IN THE ALLIANCE ISRAELITE, THE FRENCH COMMITTEE FOR GERMAN REFUGEES. HE WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE ORT BOARD FIVE YEARS AGO WHEN THE ORT OFFICE WAS MOVED FROM BERLIN TO PARIS. IN 1935, M. AND MME. BODENHEIMER VISITED THE UNITED STATES IN THE INTERESTS OF THE WORLD ORT.
