Henrione May, prominent Jewish social worker, died here today at the age of 66.
Madam May took a leading part in Jewish women’s activities in Germany and was the founder of the Jewish Women’s Federation.
Jacob Philip Budin a member of the present graduating class of the Jewish Institute of Religion. has been elected assistant rabbi of the Free Synagogue. Dr. Stephen S. Wies announced. Rabbi Rudin will supervise the Department of Religions Education and the young people’s group of the synagogue.
The “Invisible Dinner” which was to have been undered to Dr. H. Peretra Mendes on Monday, May 21, has been postponed to Monday. Oct. 9. according to an announcement made by Rabbi Herbert S. Goldstein. president of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America.
