Henry Ford 2nd, president of the Ford Motor Company, has completely disavowed the publication of “The International Jew,” reprinted from the Dearborne Independent, where it first appeared after World War I and presently being circulated by Gerald L.K. Smith, it was learned here. A letter to the Council Against Intolerance in America declared that “the publication of the book is entirely without the sanction, authorization or approval of Mr. Henry Ford, the Ford Motor Company or himself.” “It is the policy of the Ford Motor Company and the members of the Ford family to urge all American citizens to combat any movement, the purpose of which is to foster hatred and prejudice against any group,” the letter concluded.
