Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Morgenthau Jr., wife of the general chairman of the United Jewish Appeal who died here last night at the age of 57, will be held in Temple Emanu-El tomorrow morning, it was announced today.
Mr. Morganthau, meanwhile, returned to New York Hospital yesterday from which he was discharged last week and is reported suffering from a mild cardiac condition. Mrs. Morgenthau, who was the niece of former Governor Herbert H. Lehman, was active in numerous charitable causes, including the U.J.A. Messages of condolences were received today by Mr. Morgenthau from numerous leaders, including President Truman.
