The 1948 award for “distinguished service to Jewry” will be presented here to Henry Morgenthau, Jr., general chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, by the National Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs on Sunday for his “outstanding leadership” in the U.J.A. program. Stanley Garten, honorary president of the Federation, will present the yearly award to Mr. Morgenthau at the group’s annual convention.
