Funeral services were held yesterday for Herman Paley, a founder of Die Warheit, who died Wednesday at his home, 69 Tiemann Place. He was sixty-three years old and had been active in Jewish newspaper circles until his retirement in 1924, having been co-publisher of The Day since Die Warheit and the latter publication were merged in 1919. His widow and a son and daughter survive.
