The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society has become the sole Jewish organization to send CARE packages to Israel under an agreement reached between the two groups. A ceremony marking the conclusion of the agreement was held in the HIAS headquarters yesterday, attended by Mayor Vincent R. Impellitteri. The first three packages will be sent to Mayor Israel Rokach, of Tel Aviv, Mayor S.Z. Shragai, of Jerusalem, and Mayor Abba Hushi, of Haifa.
