The problems connected with aiding Jews who have escaped from Nazi territory to neutral countries will be discussed on Sunday at the annual convention at the Hias Council of Organizations, which will be held at the Plaza Hotel with 2,500 delegates representing various fraternal, labor and religious groups in attendance.
Principal speaker at the convention will be Newbold Morris, president of the City Council. Other speakers will include Morris Feinstone, general secretary of the United Hebrew Trades Abraham Herman, president of Hias; John L. Bernstein, former president; Adolph Hold, president of the Jewish Labor committee.
