Publication of a follow-up study of the adjustment of 100 Jewish Displaced Persons families in Cleveland was announced here today. The 88 page study, published jointly by the United Hias Service and the Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland, was written by Mrs. Helen L. Glassman, a member of the JFSA staff.

Mrs. Glassman, who is in charge of the Jewish Immigration and Settlement Service in Cleveland, said that in the five years covered by the study, the DP wage earners had acquired new skills and become proficient in their old ones. Their earnings were in the same general range with the average Cleveland factory worker in unskilled and semiskilled work, and in skilled work, the DP’s were earning the prevailing wage.
