The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society today announced that aliens will be afforded technical assistance in filing alien registration cards required under the provisions of the Internal Security Act of 1950, at the Hias headquarters here.
Samuel A. Telsey, president of Hias, explained that under the provisions of the Security Act all aliens residing in the United States on January 1, 1951, except those lawfully here on temporary status, such as visitors, students, and transients, must notify the Immigration and Naturalization Service, Washington, D.C., of their current address within ten days after January 1, 1951.
