Three officials of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society of America arrived here today to attend an international emigration conference convoked for June 29 by HICEM, international emigration aid organization. They are Abraham Hermann, president, Samuel Telsey, vice-president, and Isaac Asofsky, general manager.
The conference, which will consider ways and means of helping Jewish migrants to find settlement possibilities in countries where they may be assured of peace and security, will be attended by HICEM committees from all over the world. The conference will also consider plans to coordinate activities of the organization.
The American delegates to the parley will participate in the international conference of social welfare workers opening July 8 in London.
