Field Marshal Lord Plumer, the High Commissioner for Palestine who is now on leave in London, has decided in consequence of the earthquake in Palestine to curtail his leave and he will depart for Palestine on July 29. Lord Plumer feels it an obligation to carry out first his undertaking to dedicate the Menin Gate Memorial. the ceremonies in connection with which have been fixed for July 24.
