Shimon Peres, Israel’s Deputy Defense Minister, said today he was “satisfied” with the results of conferences yesterday with Pierre Messmer, the French Defense Minister, and Gaston Gaplewsky, Minister in charge of nuclear development.
Mr. Peres, who was scheduled to return today to Israel, was accompanied at the meetings by Adm. Mordehai Limon, the new head of the Israel Defense Ministry Mission in Paris. An official spokesman said that the Israeli defense official dealt with “matters related to his Ministry.”
