Dr. Wilhelm Tegethoff, former chief of political indoctrination for the Nazi Party in Waldenburg, has been appointed Chief of Police of this city, the capital of West Germany.
The ex-Nazi official has now become the guardian of public safety and of the German Constitution in the German capital despite the fact that he was a trusted leader of the Nazi regime. During the last three years of the war he held the post of Deputy Police President of Hanover, a position given only to reliable Nazis.
