Hillary Rodham Clinton would receive 49 percent of the Jewish vote in New York’s Senate race if the election were held now, according to a new poll. The first lady’s Republican opponent, Rep. Rick Lazio, received 31 percent of the vote in the New York Daily News/New York 1 poll. Overall, Clinton led Lazio by 46 to 42 percent in the survey of 1,001 voters, conducted last week.
