Over 100 Jewish student leaders from university and college campuses throughout the United States and Canada will assemble today for the third annual Hillel Foundation Leader ship Training Institute at Camp High Point in Ulster County, New York. The sessions will be held during the week of August 31st through September 8th.
The leadership Training Institute vas begun as part of the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation program of training young university and college students for a more comprehensive and positive approach to Jewish life. It brings together some of the most active student representatives of the 183 campuses where Hillel Foundation units are established for exchange of opinion and orientation. The Institute sessions will feature talks by Hillel Foundation directors on areas of Jewish culture and current affairs, with discussion groups of students following the presentation.
