The 41st annual four day convention of the National Committee for Labor Israel, sponsor of the Israel Histadrut Campaign, will be opened at the Hotel Commodore here on November 26, it was announced here today by Louis Hollander, general chairman of the convention.
Among the leading American and Israeli personalities scheduled to speak at the conclave are Israel’s Ambassador Avraham Harman; A. Philip Randolph, noted civil rights leader and president of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters; Zev Haring, member of the Histadrut executive in Tel Aviv; and Ben-Zion Ilan, American representative of Histadrut. Dr. Stein, national executive director, will submit the annual report of the Israel Histadrut Campaign, which mobilizes funds for the educational, welfare, health and rehabilitation services of Histadrut in Israel.
