A three-member delegation of Histadrut is visiting Chile on a special mission to establish stronger bonds between Israel’s labor federation and the labor movement in this country and to exchange ideas on labor problems in general. The delegation members are Yoshua Voshcina, Yamina Avidar and Naftali Glazer. Prior to coming here, the group visited Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in Brazil.
The Israeli visitors have met here with the leaders of the Central Union of Chilean Workers and the Association of Chilean Workers, the two major trade union groups in the country. They were greeted by the Israeli Ambassador, Dr. Uri Naor, who held a reception in their honor.
