The Histadrut executive today decided to affiliate the Israeli labor federation with the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions.
The executive’s decision, which was carried by the Mapai majority on the executive, is subject to final approval by a Histadrut plenary session. The federation left the Communist-sponsored World Federation of Trade Unions two years ago.
