Israel Mereminsky and Golda Myerson, members of the Executive of the Histadruth, Palestine Federation of Labor, arrived in New York on the “Bremen” and will visit this country in the interests of the Federation, as well as of the Gewerkschaften campaign.
The two Jewish delegates brought with them a happy picture of conditions in Palestine, in an interview with a representative of The Jewish Telegraphic Agency. Mr. Mereminsky stated that a new immigration wave is apparent in those sections where the rebuilding work has been strengthened. While in the country he hopes to strengthen the American Chalutzim movement. He believes that the present offers a timely opportunity for effecting this purpose.
