In the hall in the Hebrew Technical School here where the Histadruth, the Palestine federation of labor, was born 25 years ago, a festive seting was held last night to mark the organization’s twenty-fifth anniversary.
Speakers reviewed the Histadruth’s growth from an initial 5,000 to its present 150,000 members, and pledged a continued fight to build a Jewish national home in Palestine. Zionist leaders from the United States and Britain, including Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, Dr. Nahum Goldmann, Louis Lipsky, Prof. Selig Brodetaky and Berl Locker, spoke, Greetings from trade union groups in all parts of the world were read.
