An agreement between the Histadruth (Palestine Jewish labor federation) and the Jewish National Labor Organization was announced today to end rivalry between the opposition labor groups.
The agreement covers allotment of jobs in public works and building activities, but does not embrace industry and agriculture. It goes into effect first in Tel Aviv, then in Jerusalem and finally in Haifa.
Both the Socialistic Histadruth, the predominant group, and the right-wing organization undertake to include in the agreement other labor organizations.
