The second volume of the monumental work on the “History of Jewish Literature from the Close of the Bible to Our Own Days,” written by Dr. Meyer Waxman, of the Theological College of Chicago, will appear at the end of this month, it is announced here. Dr. Waxman’s work will be in three volumes. The first volume appeared three years ago. The second volume covers the time from the end of the Twelfth Century to the middle of the Eighteenth Century. The volume is illustrated and contains more than seven hundred pages.
