A special parliamentary committee has accused The Netherlands government of tacitly condoning the compliance by Dutch firms with the demands of Arab countries boycotting Israel. The committee, headed by Labor MP Harry Van Dan Bergh, who is Jewish, found that many Dutch companies trading with the Arab states obey boycott regulations that forbid them to send Jewish employes to Arab countries and that require them to affirm that materials contained in their products did not originate in Israel.
