Hitler himself favors a modus vivendi for Jews on the basis of a national minority status, but the radical wing of the Nazi party has a different opinion, the Frankfurter Zeitung states today.
The paper also predicts that the Jewish question in Germany will in the future be solved only “in the sense of the Nazi Party program and in the spirit of the anti-Jewish Hackenkreuz (swastika.)
Meanwhile it was announced today that drastic new regulations prohibiting Jews from acquiring real estate and regulating the status of Jewish landlords have been completed.
The drafts of the new measures, it was learned, have been worked out by the Association of Nazi Jurists in collaboration with the legal department of the Nazi Party.
Announcing that there are still 143 Jewish movie house owners in the Reich, Der Angriff, Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels’ personal organ, states that these holdings will be liquidated no later than December 31.
The paper also boasts that otherwise there is not a single Jew left in the German film industry, which formerly was 90 per cent in the hands of Jews.
The mayor of Munich today forbade Jews even of foreign citizenship to attend the celebrated Munich festival in October “because their presence might lead to disturbances.”
The order provides that no Jews should be employed even in the preparation of the festival.
