The educational work of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Berlin has been stopped by the Nazi government, Dr. Nicholas Murray Butler revealed last night in making public the organization’s report.
Lectures sponsored by the foundation at the German School of International Relations at Berlin were stopped immediately at Hitler’s assumption of power when the government took over the school. The foundation is anxious to renew its activitles in Berlin, the report stated, and is waiting for word from Germany as to how they can be reestablished and continued.
