The anti-Semitic movement in Germany in recent years received the support of anti-Semitic organizations in France, Switzerland and Czechoslovakia, according to the findings of a special committee of the Bavarian diet.
The committee was appointed to investigate the background of the Hitler organization in connection with the trial of Adolph Hitler in May 1923. The evidence also shows that the movement was supported by several of the industrial leaders in the Rhine region. No account of the monies received was ever rendered by Hitler.
The question of whether financial support was received by the German anti-Semitic movement from Henry Ford was not cleared up. According to the testimony of witnesses Ford at one time met with the former editor-in-chief of the “Voelkischer Beobachter,” the chief organ of the German anti-Semites.
