For calling upon the Hitlerists to kill a number of famous German Jewish novelists and journalists, the “Angriff”, the Hitlerist daily organ, was suspended to-day for three days by the President of Police.

The article for which the Hitlerist organ was forbidden to appear, named Herr Lion Feuchtwanger, Herr Heinrich Mann, Dr. Arnold Zweig, Herr Arthur Holitscher, Dr. Alfred Kerr, and a number of other world-famous German novelists as “people who ought to be shot. These Jewish intellectuals”, the paper said, “are supporting the Communists in their fight against the Hitlerists, and therefore they ought to be killed”.
