Adolf Hitler, the leader of the National Socialist Party, is shortly to be received for the first time by the President of the German Republic, Field-Marshal von Hinden-burg, the “Frankfurter Zeitung” states, remarking that while the interview is not of any practical importance, it would be better if the President would avoid such a meeting, because of the unfortunate effect it would produce on the minds of Hitler’s followers and the country generally.
