The Voelkischer Beobachter, Hitler’s paper, today contributed its bit toward the Christmas spirit of “Peace on earth, good will to men,” with publication of a proclamation urging “true Germans” to avoid doing their Yuletide shopping in Jewish stores.
The proclamation, especially directed to Berlin residents of sections where shops are not picketed, asks that the boycott of the stores be observed “even though Aryans are employed and German-made goods are sold.”
