The Nazi Party has been successful in the elections in the town of St. Poelten, and in Lower Austria generally they have increased their poll sixfold.

The Hitlerists have as a result of these elections arrived in Austrian politics, the papers write, and their successes are a bad omen for next week’s elections in Vienna.

The Left press is demanding the suppression of the Austrian Nazi storm troops, as has been done in Germany, pointing out that the storm troopers are attacking defenceless people in the streets if they suspect them to be Jewish, and and they are even attacking people sitting at the cafe tables.
