Hitler’s Anti-jewish Threats Committed by Nazi Radio in Broadcast to Foreign Lands

Two varying boots of Hitler’s New Year speech-one in which Hitler mentioned the Jews directly and indirectly thirteen times and the other in which the Jews are mentioned only once – have been broadcast over Nazi radio stations, the Office of War Information reported today.

The first version, in which Hitler devoted about one-fifth of his oration to attacking the Jews, threatening their further extermination, was broadcast over the Breslau radio and was apparently intended for internal consumption only. The second version, in which the anti-Jewish portions of Hitler’s proclamation were soft-pedalled was broadcast by Transocean, the Nazi propaganda agency which uses writers and editors familiar with American journalistic practices, apparently with a view to making it “acceptable” to the American public.

Hitler’s original message contained one paragraph which mentioned Jews five times. This and other passages levelling wild accusations against American and British Jews and predicting the annihilation of “International Jewry” were all omitted from the Nazi broadcast censored by the Transocean Nazi editors before it was transmitted in foreign languages.

In the Breslau broadcast, intended for internal consumption, Hitler said in his New Year’s proclamation that “International Jewry has always been a past master in the art of sowing discord between peoples and nations.” He charged the Jews with being “wire-pullers” in the First World War, and declared,

“I gave assurance that the hope of international Jewry to destroy the German and other European nations by means of a new World War will be the gravest error committed by Jewry for thousands of years, that it will in any case not destroy the German nation but will exterminate itself. There could no longer be any doubt about this matter, even today. This time millions of decent people will not again with impunity be driven into the field of battle and sacrificed in vain in the interests of a race burdened with a curse so that international Jewry may be able to conduct its business transactions or to indulge in Old Testament rage.

“But that this race is the chief originator of this war can best be proved by the fact that what may appear to be the most extreme differences have been united in the fight against European national states. This alliance between the arch-capitalist States of the West, or oven of America with its mendacious sham socialist regime of bolshevism, can only be understood because the leadership in both cases lies in the hands of international Jewry, even if the personalities visible to the outside world appear to contradict each other, But Roosevelt’s Jewish brain trust, the Jewish press of America, the Jewish broadcasting system of these countries, the Jewish party organization and so on – they are nothing else but an equally Jewish framework of the leadership of the Soviet Union.”
