Funeral services will be held today for Mrs. Adele G. Schiff, widow of Mortimer L. Schiff, Jewish banker and philanthropist, who succumbed at the age of 53 at her home in Oyster Bay.
Mrs. Schiff succumbed to the effects of an operation, undergone several months ago.

Mrs. Schiff was the former Adele Gertrude Neustadt, a daughter of the late Sigmund Neustadt and Mrs. Neustadt. Mrs. Schiff shared with her husband in his numerous philanthropic activities.
Mrs. Schiff was well known as a flower cultivator and this year won five blue ribbons and four reds at the Oyster Bay Horticultural Society with flowers grown in her gardens at Northwood.
Mrs. Schiff is survived by her son, John Mortimer Schiff; her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Schiff Hall; her mother, Mrs. Neustadt; a sister, Mrs. Casimir J. Stralem and a brother, Maurice Neustadt.
