Funeral services will be held at noon today at Riverside Memorial Chapel for Dr. Robert Abrahams, noted New York heart and lung specialist, who died in Florida on Saturday at the age of 74.
Burial will be at Maimonides Cemetery, Brooklyn.
Born in Russia, Dr. Abrahams came to this country in 1880 and began practice in 1891 after graduation from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. At the time of his death he was president of the board of managers of the Manhattan State Hospital on Wards’ Island.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Katherine Abrahams; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard Biel, and a son, Chester Abrahams.
