Haifa Municipal Councillor David Hacohen declared in an interview with the Daily Herald today that 99 per cent of the Arab population of Palestine wishes peace with the Jews. “Let the British Government make a pronouncement in Palestine that the mandate will be carried out even if martial law has to be declared,” he urged.
