Fearing an invasion of Austrian refugees, the Netherlands Government today announced measures to restrict the admission and residence of persons from Austria and Germany.

Only holders of passports which have been valid for at least two months and who are able to return to Germany or Austria will be permitted to enter and live in this country. To obtain a residential permit, a person must show possession of at least 25. To establish himself permanently in the Netherlands, he must prove he has 10,000 guilders.
