Police guards were reinforced today around the German Legation here and German Consulates throughout the country while investigation continued into the charge that German offices had been fired upon during the last few days. At Amsterdam a small bullet was found in the residence of the Chancellor of the German Consulate General. At The Hague the office of the Legation Secretary was similarly the object of a single small shot, it was stated. In the former case the shooting, if any, occurred during the night, and in the latter case in the lunch hour. In neither case was anyone present.
