Hollywood actor George Clooney was invited to Israel. Yediot Achronot reported Monday that Vice Premier Shimon Peres met with Clooney over the weekend while on an official trip to New York. According to the report, Peres invited Clooney, who has been to Tel Aviv, to return as his official guest, and Clooney welcomed the offer.
