A series of events intended to recall the Nazi holocaust is being sponsored by the Community Relations Committee of the Jewish Federation-Council for the week of April 18-24, Morton M. Silverman, Holocaust Week chairman, announced. The week will be launched with a traditional community service marking the 28th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. According to Cyrus Levinthal, Observance chairman, children of survivors will participate in a candle-lighting ceremony; ghetto survivors will say Kaddish; there will be Yiddish poetry readings of the holocaust and singing of ghetto songs.
